New tastes, and new rides, coming to Disney
As Hurricane Idalia approaches Florida, we have the latest on the storm, plus lots of new announcements this week from Disney.
Another week, another hurricane. This time it's back on the east coast, with a major hurricane is hitting Florida today.
Busch Gardens to close for Hurricane Idalia: Tampa's theme park is not messing around with Idalia, even as the forecast shows the storm landing north of the city. The park announced Monday that it would close early on Tuesday and remain closed all day Wednesday.
Here's the latest from Walt Disney World on Hurricane Idalia: Walt Disney World hadn’t cut its main theme park hours as of late Tuesday night, but it is making other preparations in advance of the storm, including dropping room rates for evacuees.

Tiana's Palace ups the flavor of New Orleans at Disneyland: Disneyland has revealed the menu it will be serving when Tiana's Palace opens in the old French Market space, starting September 7.
