From Arendelle to IAAPA
It's been a big week for theme park news, with both the industry's biggest annual get-together and a huge international Disney Parks grand opening event.
Sorry that I am a day late with this week's newsletter, but I wanted to make sure to include the news from this week's big World of Frozen press event at Hong Kong Disneyland. Disney bigwigs were on site to welcome the citizens of Arendelle to their home at the edge of the park, and we've got a full review.
World of Frozen
Disney does it again with Hong Kong's new 'Frozen' land: Hong Kong Disneyland's new World of Frozen recreates the Kingdom of Arendelle in a design triumph that realizes the potential of themed entertainment. My review includes full POV videos from the land's three attractions.
Hong Kong Disneyland dedicates its World of Frozen: Disney CEO Bob Iger helped dedicate Disney's first 'Frozen' theme park land last night in Hong Kong. Again, we have the video from the ceremonies, including a big drone show over the land.
Stay tuned this week for more coverage, including an insider's tour of the land, with insight from Walt Disney Imagineers. I'll also have an updated visitor's guide to Hong Kong Disneyland, again, with more on-ride and full show videos.
